Our Story
Jorge Rodriguez Started I29 Because He Was Tired of Watching Contractors Fail People
After years of hands-on construction experience, Jorge saw the same problems over and over: homeowners getting ghosted after paying a deposit, shoddy concrete that cracked in the first winter, and contractors who never returned calls.
In 2018, he founded I29 Construction LLC — named after the I-29 highway corridor that runs through the heart of Southwest Iowa, right through the communities he serves.
The principle was simple: show up when you say you will, do the work right, and don't leave anyone hanging. That's it. No gimmicks, no excuses.
Today, I29 Construction is a small, tight-knit crew of about three people based in Pacific Junction, Iowa. Jorge works directly with every client — from the first phone call to the final walkthrough. When you hire I29, you're hiring Jorge.
